Features

What we promise you.

01

An honest estimate.

Estimates are free. We tell you plainly what costs what. And we won't do more than what's needed.

02

Even on a small budget.

"This is all I can spend…" — please, say so without any hesitation. Within your budget, we'll think together about what we can do.

03

Even the smallest thing.

One block, one spot of fence to fix. The kind of thing where you wonder "is this too small to even ask?" — that's exactly when to reach out. We'll gladly come by.

04

Even if nothing's decided yet.

First time? Not sure where to even begin? That's all fine. Starting from a blank page, we'll put together a plan for you, little by little.

SERVICE

As many ways of living
as there are homes —
and a fitting shape for each.

Even the same wish — "I'd like a garden" — means something different for everyone. First we ask how you want to live, and together we find the shape that fits your home.

WORKS

Each of these is a feeling, given shape — a view from one of our days.

When someone says "I like that," it makes us — the ones who built it — happy too. From the Tono area to homes a little farther out.
Here's a look at the work we've helped with over the years.

Megumi — Original Soil Blend

We're a landscaping firm —
and we ended up making soil, too.

After decades with our hands in gardens and fields, we kept asking ourselves: what makes soil that things really grow in? "Megumi" garden soil is our answer, shaped little by little over the years.
Vegetables, flowers — give them good soil and they'll answer back. No need to make it complicated. A planter, a corner of the yard, anywhere. If it's your first time growing anything, "Megumi" is a fine place to start.

めぐみ

An easygoing soil, raised on real landscaping and garden sites.

01

Vegetables that really fill out.

We make it soft and airy, so roots can spread freely. Tomatoes, eggplants — they set fruit well, and come harvest time, you'll think, "that was worth growing."

02

Flowers that bloom longer.

We balanced drainage and moisture just right. Roots stay healthy, so blooms come fuller and last longer. Your garden or balcony gets a little livelier.

03

Old soil comes back to life.

Just mix it into last year's tired soil, and that soil springs back to life. No need to throw soil away — reuse it, again and again. Being a long-term companion is one of Megumi's good points.

We can't come up with a fancy sales pitch — but this soil, we can hand to you with real confidence. We deliver to your door, too. Need a lot? Just ask, no fuss.

COMPANY

Close to home, shaping the life you hope for.

Takahiro Mori, Representative Director

It's been over sixty years since we began doing exterior work here in Toki. Gardens, parking spaces, a fence in need of fixing — we've kept at it, close beside our neighbors' daily lives.

We're not a big company. And that's exactly why we want to listen closely to each person, and help in a way that's never a strain. If something's troubling you, please don't hesitate to reach out.

RECRUIT

To someone who'll carry on this craft and heart with us.

The exterior work we've carried on here in Toki — we want to keep doing it, close beside people's lives, for years to come. So we're looking for someone to carry this craft and heart forward with us. Experience matters less than this: that you love making things, and you can be kind to people. That's enough.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

QAre estimates really free?

Yes — advice and estimates are both free. We tell you honestly what costs what. And getting an estimate never means you're obligated to go ahead with us.

QCan I ask for just one block, or a single spot of fence to fix?

Of course. The kind of thing where you wonder "is this too small to even ask?" is exactly what we're glad to come out for. We're not a company only for big jobs, so please don't hold back.

QHow far do you travel?

We're based in Toki, Gifu, and mainly serve the Tono area — Mizunami, Ena, Tajimi and nearby. We also make our way to Gifu City, Ogaki, and toward Seto and Nagoya in Aichi. If you're not sure whether you're in our area, just ask first.

QHow long does the work take?

It depends on the job. A single fence repair is about half a day to a day; a full exterior for a new home is roughly a few days to one or two weeks. We tell you a rough timeframe before we start, so we can fit the work around your schedule.

QCan I ask for advice even if nothing's decided yet?

Please, come just as you are. People who feel "I don't even know where to begin" are exactly the ones we welcome most. We'll ask how you'd like to live, and think it through together from a blank page, little by little.

QCan I still ask even on a small budget?

Yes. "This is all I can spend…" — please, say it without holding back. We figure out together what can be done within your budget. We don't sell ourselves on being cheap, but we won't push a bigger job on you either.

QCan home fire insurance cover exterior damage from a typhoon or earthquake?

Sometimes it can. Damage from natural disasters — typhoons, heavy snow, earthquakes — can sometimes be repaired through your fire insurance (wind and flood coverage and the like). We'll help as far as we can, from how to take the photos to how to explain it to your insurer, so don't leave the damage as it is — let us know.
